Hi.
I use Bacula 3.0.0 on FreeBSD-6.3. The problem I have is that DIR and SD tend
to hang often, and it seems one causes another, because they do it together
mostly. Sometimes it happens between jobs, sometimes it happens before all the
jobs. The only possibility unlock the processes is to kill

I got excited when I read the description of the VirtualFull option. In
my excitement I neglected to re-read the description of the storage
types.
My mistake, thank you all for your comments.

I can't believe I can't find any clear cut way to do this.
I have a Linux box Cent OS 4.2 with Bacula pre installed.
I have to use Windows Client 2.0.2 with it.
I have a full functioning system to backup file folders from a Windows
computer to a file on the Linux box and restore the same file b

MySQL 4.0 does not support subqueries, you need at least 4.1.

Hi all,
I've just hit a bit of a snag with restore. I can't seem to cd
into a directory with a space in the name. I've tried quoting
the name and \escaping the spaces and neither works. How do I do this? I
can't reeducate (baseball bat) all our Windows
users not to use spaces.
thanks

Hi,
Running Bacula 3.0.1 on an Ubuntu 9.05 system.
Main backups are done to an internal hard disk. Pool is called

VirtualFull backups are done to an external hard disk. Pool is called

The internal pool is mounted in: /var/lib/bacula

My colleague went through this trouble a while back and filed a bug report.

First of all, temporarily turn off iptables on the Storage Daemon
machine and see if that allows you to connect. That way, you don't have
to guess on WHICH firewall is the problem.
If this allows you to connect, you would need to (on the SD machine)
ACCEPT connections on port 9103 from 192.168.
Feeling so stupid
