Hello,
I am having issues with restoring Mac OS X resource forks stored on a
HFS+ filesystem. I noticed while researching the problem that a post to
bacula-devel[1] mentioned that HFS+ resource fork restoration was broken
as of early December last year. I'm curious to know if this is still the

That is a short question :-)
Short answer: No, but keep in mind that FreeBSDs tape options might need
to be set correctly bef

I have a machine that has two DLT drives. While I can define a job to
run on either tape drive, I can not at run time alter an existing job to
run on the other tape drive. If I do try to alter the storage location
of a job (with the "mod" option of the "run" command), my request to use

I was testing bacula-fd on windows 2003 under XenSource 3.1. Under
XenSource 3.
I have 3 stand alone DLT drives (no changers.) I would like to define a
backup job that can treat these drives as a "pool" and span across them.
Is this possible?
The reason I want this is that I have a backup job that will not fit on
one tape. I would like to put a tape in each drive and have bac

Are you experiencing a specific problem?
I'm using bacula-sd/bacula-dir on FreeBSD 6.2-stable.

Mucking around with the console I noticed I could set the level of a
backup job to "Base" or "Since". There is some mention of "Base"
backups as being vaporware as of 1.30 within the FAQ, but otherwise
the manual doesn't seem to have that much on these options.
Is Base is some sort of varia
Hi all,
Are there any known problems with running bacula SD and director on a FreeBSD
6.x-machine?

I have a box of 1500 white labels for DAT. Yours if you pay for the
shipping.
See here for details:

I am very happy with these labels, but I no longer use DAT.

Thanks, I will try it.
This is the scenario:
I needed this because we had problems with file permissions on a file server
(someone pressed the wrong combination of keys with a '-R' on it :-( ) and I
don't want to restore the whole directory tree, just see attributes of the
stored files and wor

Use the command 'bls'. I didn't find a way to to it inside a bconsole.
A bootstrap file is nice of course.

Hello mailinglist!
I am happily running bacula 1.36.2 on debian sarge for two years now.
One client is a Windows 2000 MVS NT 5.0.2195. I am getting the following

I could be wrong about this, but my suspicion is that you're going to
need to supply more information than this. I personally don't know what
you're talking about.

Yesterday, bacula wrote most of the jobs to a first tape. Before the
tape was full, it changed to a second tape, and wrote a job, then
changed back to the first tape, and finished the remaining jobs. Things
that make you say hmmm.

Hello,
I'm preparing the installation of bacula on a server which is connected
to TS3310 library. At this moment I have some problems with autochanger.
I can use an "IBMtapeutil" - IBM tool for library (tape/changer)
management. Unfortunately it is not "compatible" with mtx.

Hi list.
Is there a way to get a report of all the files with it's attibutes
backed up in a given jobid (and send it to a file)?
Thanks a lot!
