I am currently using Postgres as my database server for Bacula. As of now,
the data under /var/lib/postgres/data has grown to 84 GB. Is there a way to
reduce the amount of space bacula requires to backup files? I am currenlty
backing up about 160 GB compressed data on tape backup.

Hello, all!
I’ve got 2 bacula servers, one of which is a primary
box doing all the backing-up and the other is supposed to be an exact copy of
the first one (it’s located in a “hot site” facility far
away). As a part of the disaster recovery plan, I would like to make sure that

I've been looking for the same thing as you with 1. and 2.

Great!! This is exactly what I was looking for. I had not looked at

Dear Thomas,
I had a similar problem with my setup. It turned out that the version of
mtx installed on the machine was a little too far out of date and didn't
handle the additional 'zero' being added to indicate the drive index
from the mtx-changer script.
Assuming you have the same issue, I sug

Hello list,
my problem is that the first "*update slots=8 scan storage=Autoloader" does
not work (the second always does!)

Hi Folks,
I am receiving the above error when I try to run a catalog backup. This
began when I moved servers, I thought this was probably something I had
forgotten to do during the move so reinstalled and upgraded to the
latest 1.38.9. The problem still re-occurs
