To answer my own question, it's in the storage daemon
config of the device.

I'm archiving a lot of video to DLT, and think it
might help to disable hardware compression. DV25
streams are, by definition, compressed and will not
shrink much anyway (if at all).
In the docs it says you disable compression with this:
mt -f /dev/nst0 defcompression 0
But where do you enter that
