The run command is correct, you can "mod"ify the job later and change
the pool thats used. Just try to run it and before you say "yes" to
execute it, you can say mod.
Have a nice day.

Yes, bacula backups *.pst files fine. After few hours of messing with
other machines (runing XP and outlook ) - i got it working and it seems
that is problem is related only to my own computer. Now i only need to
find out why this is happening.

Huh? Did I miss something?
I seem to have no trouble backing up an open PST file using VSS. If I
restore the result, Outlook is perfectly

Moin,
I have run a backup, but one host (= one job) do not run successfull, because I

I can't believe I didn't see this in the manual before. Thanks for pointing

"Rum before job" is, indeed, executed only once per job, as are all the
other run before/after job directives.

Good morning everyone,
Can a backup job which has been upgraded to Full be forced to use a
different Pool in the director config?
Example situation:

2) Full backups occur at the beginning of the month.

your solution with the "run before job" only mount the tape before a job, but a
tape could be full during a job, too. Does your solution work too, if bacula
requests a new tape during a job?

I think you should recreate an empty database (using the scripts in
/etc/bacula) and the bscan on all your backups tha should reconstruct your
jobs.
I have used it for some single job (even multivolume, with
"Volxxx|Volyyy|Volzzz" syntax) and worked fine.
I think that you should also reinsert yo
Hi,
I have installed Bacula 1.36.2 on Debian Sarge dealing with an LTO2 drive.
I have 7 Jobs to run each night and I ant to change the tape after each
full backup that occurs each night.
I use this option in order to mark the tape as "Used" when the backup is
finished :
