ayatana-design bug task has been closed as
opinion while the unity task is set to incomplete, presumably waiting
for design feedback. I really wish people would leave comments when

This is possible, but for some reason not enabled by default. Enable
the "Scale Addons" plugin in the CompizConfig Settings Manager.
