Unity, is particular adapting it for the desktop release?

That's awesome. I've been using Unity a lot on my laptop and the full
sizing does get annoying.

I would put the application's name behind the files name in most if not
all instances. It really bugs me when some applications more than fill
the space shown for window title with just the app name.

It sounds like PCManFM is the default file manager. The home folder
launcher manually runs Nautilus, but I'm pretty sure the trash runs
xdg-open trash:///
