I haven't heard about the Ubuntu Tour project earlier and I think it's
great initiative! It will be very helpful for new users and people migrating
from other operating systems. But this still doesn't solve the problem with
more default applications and how people should learn about the
ubuntu-res
Just want to add that some colors may look a bit off since my monitor is not
color calibrated and I saw it one another monitor recently and it looked
kinda bad. So I hope you can imagine the end result anyway.

It looked fantastic to me. Only thing I'd modify is the button so it shows
an icon of what it takes you to.

I know, the Ubuntu icons are just placeholders for more appropriate icons
which I didn't have time to find :)

"I highly encourage the Ubuntu Tour proponents to look at the Help
already shipped in Ubuntu 11.04 (which unfortunately is a bit hidden
in the Dash but that should be better in 11.10). A decent amount of
what is wanted may already be possible with that framework. Please
talk to the Ubuntu Document

The message indicator really needs some love. The current behavior is
pretty un-intuitive regarding IM's. When you get a new IM you can click the
indicator and click the message their to bring up the chat window, this is
great. What isn't great is if you go back to another window and want yo go

Unity badly needs better ways to deal with applications that have multiple
windows open. Currently if you have a program with multiple windows open,
and you click its icon on the dock it just brings every window to the front.
This is terrible behaviour and would be downright overwelming for new
us
