Actually, this is easily configurable on ccsm (grid plugin). Maybe the
*default* behaviour could be discussed here, but the feature is already
implemented.

If you are talking about the text on title bar, it is there by design
(because when you are working with non-maximized windows, you need to
know where and what are each of them).

Yes, Folders in the launcher is a good idea to avoid overfilling it. I'm
used to have folders in my previous launchers or docks as well.

Well, the animation time of Expo (workspace zooming) is 0.3 seconds by
default. The animation time of minimizing is 0.22 seconds. I don't think
that this makes difference in pratice.
Although I don't realize any slow effect, the animation times can be

OK, as this troubled me too much, I filed a bug:

this bug is now tagged as "needs-design", so if anyone from you likes to

The mockups look like good. It's a suggestion for dash navigation (that
does not exist yet). It's similar to USC navigation, and doing it this
way is really nice for consistency.
However, it's too late for Natty. The dash navigation will be designed
and implemented only for Natty+1.

I feel like those mockups remove the focus of Dash as a sort of "Search
engine". Search foremost. Also, I was under the assumption that the finished
Dash would mimick the current state of Unity-2D (With fancy compiz effects,
of course.) I do like the bread crumbs though. Maybe if the left-right

I don't feel changing the window border is necessary.
The new transparency options provide a nice look and make it easily
accessible. However, the current Unity panel, with any transparency, is out
of touch with both the window titlebars and the Unity desktop. This image

Actually, and I already mentioned this to Phong, but that isn't a mockup,,
rather what my panel looks like after tweaking my Ambiance theme. The Panel
does follow the user preferences.
I don't feel like the unity pane and the window titlebar are the same thing,
rather the panel provides titlebar-l

I've seen many calling for an aero-peek-like function to be brought
into Unity. I would like to say that by and large this is completely
unnecessary given that Unity's already present expo feature.* However
I do see that there is room for improvement in the implementation with

My bad. Where I said "current visual of the panel" I actually meant
"current visual of the launcher". The

many of you actually use Evolution? And how many of you feel
confortable with the current way it's integrated to the

Overall I like 3 where all the gray icons (trash, drives, applications and
files & folders) are available when the dock is out. But I think the drives
should also be available when the dock is in like in 1.

Disclaimer: I don't use evolution. Ive tried numerous times and each time I
have quickly returned to webmail. I have a simple mail notification program
with an option for going to the website and one turning the message menu
from green back to white.
I reinstalled evolution-indicator tonight to te
