today after upgrading the system I had a popup telling me that the
battery was fully charged. I could dismiss the notification by clicking
ok on it. Is it a bug? If not, what is the rationale behind requiring me
to explicitly click a button when my battery is charged? A non blocking

Was it on Jaunty / Karmic ? What version of gnome-power-manager ? In
my opinion it's a bug that should be reported :
* "Battery full" notifications shouldn't have an action associated to it
