With Dash I can launch every application / recently used file / favorite
folder, and I'm used to go to left top of screen for that menu as before

OK, reading a bit here showed me that images show more than words, so
here are two images from me, showing the "how to pick the right text
document window?" problem:

It should also be mentioned that my proposal for the Ubuntu button (clck to
recall, click to flip dock) would also be ideal for tablet/handheld devices
as it would allow the user to recall and interact with the dock using only
the thumb at the edge of the screen.

the mockups from the Me&Messaging Menu brainstorming threads..
