I never thought of the current text in such a way that you observed but then
again I am "computer literate".
The proposed text Matthew Paul Thomas posted seems more explanatory and seems
to make even a person which is "computer illiterate" to understand what is
happening.

we've implemented the shutdown dialog (attached), and I wanted to get some more
brains on it, as it may be something relatively simple to fix.
Someone I know uses Ubuntu just about the same as the
