cookies and the system won't allow me to login. I have enabled cookies
and exited mozilla and restarted it but still can't login.

I frequently have to install software in a non standard place (I can't
be root), which causes other packages not to find the installed ones.
I add the path to the installed package to my path as well as to
LD_LIBRARY_PATH. I am running RH9 on a pc.
