Dear chan_ss7 users,
I've bumped into a problem when using chan_ss7 1.0.0 in Germany.
Overlapped dialing didn't work properly.
The relevant ss7 configuration reads
...
enable_st => yes
t35 => 4000,st
Asterisk configuration reads
...
exten => _0X.,1,Dial(ss7/myss7/${EXTEN:1})
...

I'm just a newbie, but I guess it's completely possible to use ts1 for
signaling like this:
system.conf
span=1,0,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=2-31
dchan=1
===chan_dahdi.conf
signalling=ss7
ss7type=itu
..blah blah
..blah blah
sigchan = 1
channel => 2-31
Good luck!
Alex

Hi.
First of all, excuse me for me poor english
Im very new in the SS7 protocol and im having a extrange behavior in one of our
systems. The system has a A1108 Sangoma card (8 pris) and was working correctly
with 7 SS7 pris connected, but when i try to connect the pri 8, all the pris
goes down

Hi.
First of all, thanks for the reply.
As i said, im very new in SS7. Anybody knows the reason of the limitation to 7
pris?. In other systems, we have 14 pris (not SS7) working in a system that is
exactly as this one with no problems. Anybody knows a solution for this without
buy new cards?.
Hello Sam,
Alex is right, if the both sides select the ts1 for signalling, it'll work
properly.

Andrey
