But asterisk 1.6.0.28 has some issue with dtmf on dialed out calls, which it
has been solved on 1.6.2.X.
On 1.6.2.18 we compiled with several warnings (aviso) and errors

I am using Asterisk 1.6.0.28 with Dahdi 2.4.0 and Attila's Libss7 version ( SVN
https://observer.router.hu/repos_pub/libss7/trunk ) and it handles SAM messages
perfectly. It is not compatible with Asterisk 1.8.

As per ITU the maximu length of the number should not exceed 16 digits. If
