We are using a ALC and doing a single point code for many switches.

Are they seeing physical DS1 signal or just no SS7 signaling? If this
is US ANSI check to see if they are looking for 56k.

When I use the ss7linktest and asterisk I get a stream of errors
occasionally. It prevents the link from staying aligned for any real
length of time.
Got message smaller than the minimum SS7 SU length. Dropping
Overrun detected!
Any ideas?

The CSX will only do 56k links. How do I setup the 410p for 56k for
the link?

When I use ss7linktest on the link I get back HDLC aborts. Any
debugging tips? I'm connecting to a A-Link ALC CSX using ANSI ss7 if
that helps.

is there a way to use a digium card to get a trace of link activity.
Or does anyone have a ANSI TCAP CNAM lookup or VM MWI capture laying
around?
Thanks,
Shane

Is there anything in the code at this point for query response
interface for those types of queries? I'm mainly interested in ANSI
but ITU documentation is out there as well.

Are there any plans or has anyone modified libss7 to do TCAP query/
responses or more specifically CNAM and LNP querys?

I hate to say it but you might want to
consider a sangoma card. Problems seem to disappear with the a104d.

Is there an ANSI version yet? Specifically supporting TCAP VM?

this time and it only supports
the ITU standard(international) not ANSI(US standard). There are group of
us working on both versions, I am working on the ANSI version.

Is the chan_ss7 part of asterisk or an external project? I
can’t seem to find out a lot about it other than the list. Also is TCAP
supported?
