Quick Update ***
Patched and compiled against trunk version, which seems to be a 1.6ish
branch and it went well, not tried it yet though, don't relly use
1.6 just now.
Should I ?.

I'm trying to implement missing COT functionality in libss7. As I can see,
actually libss7 can only reply on COT requests, but cannot initiate a COT
procedure itself. Do anyone has tried to do that before? Do you think that
the function ast_playtones_start could work in chan_dahdi.c? And how

I've downloaded rev 8567 from the trunk version. The firmware version,
listed upon loading the module, is 120 (as in dahdi 2.3).

I am getting strange messages when I use the hardware echo canceller
VPMADT032 on a Digium TE121 with DAHDI 2.3 (ec firmware rev 120) and
CHAN_SS7 1.3
