Hi,
I am installing to a rk3399 nanopc-t4, unfortunately my problem is a
broken uSD slot.
I have had the installer boot once to the prompt and a few questions
later died, also can't install linux through uSD slot.
I am able to flash linux images to the emmc through the usbc cable using

Hi,
When booting OpenBSD 6.7 on a nanopc-t4 (with patched u-boot)
it finds the AP6356S wifi chip and installs the appropriate firmware.
When loading, the firmware fails with message "can't find
brcmfmac4356-sdio.txt"
brcmfmac4356-sdio.vamrs,rock960.txt comes from the
brcm-supplimental-1.0.t
When I boot my nanopc-t4 from a miniroot uSD,
uboot loads /bsd which then doesn't see the uSD, only the EMMC as sd0.
dwge0 now fails so have to install from disk.
I have to put my distribution sets on a usb stick which gets recognised
as sd1.

Hi,
I have been comparing decompiled dtb files from working linux
(friendlyarm, armbian, dietpi) installs with decompiled openbsd dtb.
home$ dtc -O dts -I dtb -o board.dts board.dtb
checking results against the various datasheets and circuit.

Hi,
To use someone elses DTB, I decompile, edit the DTS and recompile with
dtc, before using.
I've learned from others' DTBs.
Try dtc so you know what is in the DTB.

Hi,
You will need to do a bit of work in ports to build the dtb and u-boot
for your R1 board which isn't supported.
patch to include your board then make.
Go well,
Colin

Hi,
I have seen a need for a solid power supply when attaching SSDs.
wiki suggests a ~60W 15v 4a supply for 2 2TB sata drives.
Go well,

Hi Sylvain,
After a dd command I do a sync to ensure buffers have been flushed,
which can take quite a few seconds.
Removing the micro-sd before a full flush causes an incomplete write.
