Does adding
ILoveCandy
to /etc/pacman.conf make a difference?
I don't notice a progress bar issue. My setup:
$ grep IL /etc/pacman.conf
ILoveCandy
$ pacman -Qi roxterm | grep On
Depends On : dbus-glib vte3 hicolor-icon-theme
$ pacman -Q roxterm vte3
roxterm 3.11.1-1
