strange that you don't see add-ons.
Did you by any chance, added the default repository url as a new site
without https?

I installed both Eclipse and the android-sdk, as they are available in
the AUR (the user repository for archlinux), and when I try to create
an AVD to work with using tools/android, the Targets drop-down is
