A little background. This is the free version of my first app and it

Here's another number my app, "punch," is not free. At the beginning
of John's advertising experiment, the price was $1.69. I showed no
change in order rates after the first ~5000 impressions, and
subsequently lowered the price after ~1 to $0.99. At that point
there was a consistent daily ave

The experiment has generated over 125,000 impressions so far and
things look to be working pretty well.
I would like to open up this a bit. I'll accept up to 12 more apps
with at least a 4 star rating and up to 10,000 downloads as shown in
the market.

Great idea. I was thinking of similar approach with my upcoming apps.
I was planning on banding with few fellas for implementing cross-
promotion (ie. I would promote my other apps and those of others and

Nice to see that your initiative is so open, It could be very useful

Hey John.
Sounds like a good idea. Can you compare/contrast this to Flurry's
"App Circle" concept? I don't think that they offer this for Android
yet, but it sounds similar...

The experiment has started. Three developers sent me banners which are
now running as ads on my app.
So far, with about 4000 impressions, there have been 67 clicks or
about 1.7 percent.

Unfortunately (or fortunately :))
My applications do not qualify anymore,

Judging from my admob CTRs of 7 to 10 percent, it could work.

than 20 for the run of the experiment.
A couple of other points I didn't mention.
Radar Now! is a US only app so your app should be useful in the US and
be English language compatible.

Chill out guys, he's making a decent offer here.
App promotion is an important topic for virtually all developers, and
