You could address the spyware issue with a comment in an updated
description of your app. It's not the ideal solution, but it's an
option.

In my case, every comment with a less than four star rating contains
ignorant patently false statements about my app.
I wish there was SOMETHING that could be done about this. Here are
some ideas:
