Hi Everyone,
I was talking With Mark this morning, and I think it would be prudent to
release an Amarok 2.8.1. There aren't a lot of feature changes, but there
are a number of bug fixes, and just general runtime issues. I Have a hope
to have amarok working better on os x before the release, but

there are a lot of people waiting eagerly to use Amarok on Mac.

Development has pretty much ended over last 5-10 years. You may see a
response from one of the general kde developers who pokes at amarok, but
there's not really anyone actively developing/managing the project at this
point, unless something has changed that I'm unaware of.
