Testing anomalies - help needed

Hi all, I've been attempting to test the newest Phonon (from git), the newest pgst tarball, newest pvlc tarball, and Amarok from git. Yes, everything runs, BUT Amarok isn't seeing those new phonon and pvlc builds, and thinks I'm not using Pulseaudio, which is installed from Kubuntu packages. For so
