Are the lights blinking on the Midisport when you play a note?? I suggest "pd by miller puckette" a google for Software by Miller Puckette shoudl bring you to the right spot running ./pd -mididev 2 in pd-035-0/bin should get you going open up testing audio and midi and then test your interface
