I've installed Debian Linux on my HP Compaq 6535s laptop. But the
integrated audio chipset doesn't work.
Under windows, the audio chipset is recognized as "SoundMAX
Integrated Digital HD Audio". Under Linux it is "00:14.2 Audio device:
ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA)". A
It fixed. I use hda-intel and pass a parameter "model=laptop" to it.
The sound chip works now.
