ok. I've been at this problem for a week now, and no go. I'm compiling with kernel 2.4.17 patched with the latency fix, and alasa-driver/lib/utils-0.5.8 I keep getting: init.c: In function 'snd_register_ioport_Rsmp_96ac88a': init.c:285: structure has no member named 'res'
