I've got an AD1988B chipset on my motherboard (Asus P5B-BN).
It works fine with the alsa driver 1.0.14.
There are some feature I'd like to know if it can be done.
- Can the headphone output be on a separate stream ?
So I can watch a movie on TV and play a song on headphone, like i'll got 2

I'm trying to set up my sound installation on my computer.
I've got one HDA-Intel 7.1 audio device.
I have found on Alsa Wiki the Squisher's .asourndrc file which permit to
use on audio device as two.
I want sound goes to my headphone or goes to HiFi.
Actually, squisher's .asoundrc works fine

Ok, it's solved.
I have just set up 2 dmix plugins on my card and do some bindings to use
the good outputs. Works great now.
