thanks for the quick reply, however it's not just popping up in syslog but also causing NO-SOUND :( or very very choppy broken sound (almost nothing ) and btw what do you mean by alsa-debug activated? are you talking about --with-debug while compiling alsa drivers? Regards, -mustafa Giovanni M
