I finally got my emu 1212 M card working under fedora 7. I am using Alsa
v1.0.14. I don't see L and R speaker levels (I guess they would be L and
R analogue OUTs as that is where my cable takes to signal to the
amplifier). Did stereo come in after v1.0.14. Just kidding. Am I

I'm not sure I'm looking in the right place, but everything
in this directory has a current time stamp except
/lib/modules/2.6.22.4-65.fc7/kernel/sound/soundcore.ko
soundcore.ko sounds important, could this be my problem?

I googled around to find out whether it is supported well by ALSA.
