Hello, I am brand new to ALSA and am having some difficulty getting
my echoaudio layla20 soundcard working in Ubuntu Studio.
I have installed ALSA drivers version 1.0.14 and configured with

As a fellow user of intel's ich7, I just wanted to see if possibly you
had an option in alsamixer to switch between Line and Mic for Input
Source, that's the trouble I had at least.

The sound on my Gateway MT6821 laptop only works on boot when Alsamixer

Hi, Micah.
No go. I tried switching the Input Source from Mic, Front Mic, Line to
Wav and I still got the same results. No sound recording. Thanks for the
tip.
Any other ideas on how to troubleshoot?
