The last time I asked about this (about 2 years ago) the answer was
that it is not possible due to the way the ALSA drivers are written.
Is this still the case? If so is there any plan to someday get this to
work or will it never happen?

Hi,
I have just installed Ubuntu 6.06 and I've having a small problem with
the ALSA drivers. All the sound seems delayed about a second from
events that trigger them, and when watching video, the audio is not
synchronized with the video. Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks,
Colin

I spoke with Core Sound the PDAudio card's manufacturer, briefly on the
telephone on August 4th 2006. I was informed that the card works with Linux
laptops, but only Windows PDAs. For Linux, though, I should consult AL
