i noticed a few days ago that the hammerfall driver is an option in the kernel
configuration menu. if this option is selected, do i still need alsa-lib and
alsa-utils
(to use asoundrc and alsactl)?

i noticed "--with-sequencer=yes" in the ./configure example for hammerfall on the alsa
homepage. anybody know how to use the sequencer with this card? i.e is an external
sequencer required, or how can i get started with it, or location of any documentation?
