I got it working! Two years running Linux, 3 Alsa beta's, and this one
finally works!! To make things worse I think they've all worked over the
years! But in the alsa mixer program, this time I pressed "h" to see the

Which Xwave card do you have? The ALSA drivers are written by chipset,
not by card manufacturer. You need to find out which Xwave card you
have and then check out the sound card matrix at

and it is not getting enabled pls let me know the complete information about
what to do and which lines to compile etc n where. pls help me i'v loaded alsa
0.5.0 drivers, libraries, utils etc
