I am able to make my onboard ac97 (P4 vt8235 RH7.3 custom2.4-18) work. I can
hear various sound file formats, watch movies with xine, play quakeIII,etc,
rip mp3s and record sounds. BUT I can't hear any sound when I'm trying to
play CDs. I have no problem with CD music when I am i
