I'll look at this.
I thought that it was a topic for the list because I wanted to record
and stream live, and if I shall do that I need to know how to set up
alsa for that.

I'm working on setting up internet radio using shoutcast.
Has any of you done this?
I want to send podcast. both live and recorded.
I also want to record Everything. both when I'm working in gnome, and
when I'm in the console.
