emu10k1x and not emu10k1. If you can look on main chip on soundcard
there is EMU10K1X.
emu10k1x is not suported by ALSA. New versions of alsa emu10k1
driver will fail to load t

I have disabled apic and acpi and tried changing pci-slot, changing irq in bios
,reserving irqs and so on
Does anyone have any more ideas what I can try to do ?
I'm also using suse9 on a Dell Dimension 4550.
