I have been trying to compile and load the latest (1.0.21) ALSA, but I
keep getting unknown symbol errors. I first tried building against the
2.6.30.5 kernel, which had been working fine for me apart from specific
intel audio issues, but I got unknown symbol errors. I made sure to
recomp
