Maybe you have clean your alsa tree. Try make clean, make depclean or I
don't know something that will clean things up. Delete your alsa sources
and uncompress them again

I'm using a kernel 2.4.19
The problem is that I compiled a new kernel (2.4.20)
and I wanted to compile a new version of alsa (for
this kernel)
