I've been trying to get the AC3 passthru to work on
my system. Both Xine and MPlayer completely lockup the system if the AC3
passthru is enabled. I've tried the 0.9.12 and 0.9.13 builds of
Xine, the Alsa 0.9.0rc3 and a recent CVS
snapshot build.
Xine plays fine without the passthru enabled.
