That first command gives me no output, just returns back to the localhost prompt. I'm guessing it's not in use by anything? On Sun, 2003-09-28 at 04:37, Frans Ketelaars wrote: > On Thursday 25 September 2003 19:31, Michael Amos wrote: > > How do I check whether or not the card is in use by somet

How do I check whether or not the card is in use by something else? I had unmuted the channels originally, but when I went back in to alsamixer, they were muted again. Is there a way to save those settings so they don't revert on a reboot? On Thu, 2003-09-25 at 06:57, Frans Ketelaars wrote: >

I'm running an HP ZT1180, RedHat 9. Everything builds fine, but when I attempt to do the modprobe portion of the destructions, I get the following: /lib/modules/2.4.20-19.9/kernel/sound/pci/snd-via82xx.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters
