I just subscribed so I apologize for not threading the email properly. Michael, this is how I set up my .asoundrc. Note that I also fiddled around with the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist file to get it to show up as default / card 0. It produces the 5.1 sound properly using a 6 channel test wave file

Hi I have on of these running on OpenSUSE 10.2 using the snd-usb-audio modile as provide by SUSE. The only function available as far as Kmiix or Alsamixer seems to be PCM volume. Is there anything I can do to add more functions ? Are there additional pieces of ALSA or the kernel that I migh
