it's not possible play several PCMs at once any more...

Now, I'm using the kernel 2.4.21 and alsa 0.9.4 but my problem persists.
But, when I activate arts (with alsa), the sound in other application
(which use ALSA directly and not aRts) are better but unfornately, not
perfect...
I've tried to use 48000Hz as default frequency, but it seems it doesn't

I have resolved the problem the other way. Upgrade the kernel to 2.4.21
gives exelent sound by the kernel driver.
