I have an Asus A7N8X-XE mobo and two sound cards: one SB Live and the
onboard card that works with the intel8x0 driver from alsa and
recognizes it as Nvidia CK8. The sound card works and I can hear the
sound but the master volume control has no effect. Can this be fixed
somehow?
