I have the firmware properly installed and configured in the /lib/firmware
directory
I have added the line options snd-layla24 index=0 to my /etc/modprobe.d

I've finally found an "old" Echo Layla24 sound card with the pcmcia
adaptor.
I've choosen this one, 'cause I was sure it would work on Linux, but
it doesn't seem to be as simple !!!
Has anyone informations about this card ?
