I can't access the ALSA mixer.  I type in "alsamixer" in the alsa-utils-0.9.0rc6/alsamixer dir, but I get "alsamixer: command not found" from the Bash shell.  The contents of the alsa-utils-0.9.0rc6/alsamixer dir are "alsamixer.1," "alsamixer.c," "Makefile.am," "Makefile.in," and "README."
