No, it doesn't have anything to do with 3d sound. It's just that one channel is just at a very very very low volume when playing normal (stereo) things. The only way to get something on the left channel is with "monoishing" the sound using the "3d depth" slider. BTW: If I switch PCM out to "post

I have a Terratec DMX XFire1024 (snd-cs46xx, using 1.0.0pre2) and the left channel is practically muted or at least at a very very low volume (problem already existed in some 0.9x-versions). If I use the 3d depth slider, I can use the left channel but the overall output is practically mono (sinc

Hi all, as you might have already seen on the web news page, we released 1.0.0pre1 tarball. This is intended for the wide tests before the official 1.0.0 release. We planned to release 1.0.0 (hopefully) in this month, so please everyone test this version and give bug reports now. Especially, if
