Hi,
I try to install my sound card, on my laptop packard bell igo 5541,
using ALSA drivers.
"alsaconf" command detects my card but my computer freezes during sound
test just after detection, and i don't know why and how to correct ?!
I have installed: alsa-driver-1.0.2c-1.fr.i386.rpm,
alsa-lib-1.

lume
meter show that something is playing, but no sound can be hear.
I have buy other speaker thinking it comes from there, but I still
have no sound output with speaker and Line-out output.
What's the problem ? Is anybody received a solution for that
What am I missing here? (other than a header file :D )
