I'm having some trouble getting the Ekiga softphone to work with ALSA's JACK
plugin in order to record phone interviews. I already got this working once
without much problems on a different system but it just won't work here
(tried different sound hardware already). I'm using Debi

I set up /etc/asound.conf as described here:
