I've been trying to record a log sweep using the following script:

It generates a clean sweep file, as can be seen in the pretty pictures

I'm trying to setup my SB Extigy USB soundcard in ALSA so that it can
be addressed as a 6-channel device. Has anyone done this, so I might
copy their .asoundrc file?
I wonder if it even possible to playback through anything other than
the first two channels as apparently the card uses
